(and "The Funny Tummy Feeling" Rule)

“Customer delight” is something we take very seriously here at Eyeful. So much so, we have our own little phrase for it – the “funny tummy feeling”.
Do you remember that “funny tummy feeling” you used to get when younger? You know, the one that used to bubble up in the pit of your stomach before a big party, getting ready for a “hot date” or when you’ve bought someone a brilliant present and you can’t wait for them to open it. Ring any bells?
It’s a heady mix of anticipation and unadulterated excitement…and rather pleasant.
Here at Eyeful we still pull upon that “funny tummy feeling” in our day-to-day work. Along with a long list of quality control measures governed by our delivery team, we use it as a final check before sending a finished presentation project out to a customer.
Three simple questions guide our way:
- Will our customer be excited by it?
- Are we immensely proud of it?
- Can we not wait for our customer to see it?
Put simply, if we don’t get a collective “funny tummy feeling”, it goes back into the studio. No questions. Customer delight is that important to us.
So here’s a warning - when you work with us and find that we’re on the phone, giggling in anticipation with what you’re about to see, please forgive us. We’re just in the thick of a “funny tummy feeling” moment and you, our customer, is on the receiving end.
The net result of this customer delight obsession is that we’re recognised as the market leader in the UK. It also means we’re surrounded by a happy band of customers who regularly sing our praises, pass on our name and keep coming back for more. We think this is all rather good.
