Despite the evidence of some presentations that we’ve seen, great design isn’t about a livid colour scheme, migraine-inducing animations and clichéd clip art. Design should compliment and support your message - not be in competition with it.
In an ideal world, we would organise an international amnesty - sending abused graphics and animations to a place where they can live out their days in peace and tranquility with a million bullet points to entertain them.
